Hello! My name is Michelle!

Welcome to my humble web space. Thank you for visiting!

I’ve always been drawn to the visual and performing arts – music, drawing, mixed media, sewing, dancing, and singing (to name a few!).

My face painting journey started unexpectedly in the early summer of 2022. I was helping to start a local Event Rental company, and the owner asked me if I wanted to add face painting to our services. It wasn’t something I had ever considered before, but it sounded like a fun way to express my creativity so I decided to give it a try! I instantly fell in love with face painting! As much fun as I was having, I said a fond farewell to the company in mid-2024. After a few months, I felt like something was missing in my life. I missed the ambiance of being at events and getting to paint cool designs on kids’ faces! Ergo, Michelle’s Face Painting was born!

On a more personal note, I was born and raised in Edmonton, AB, and I love my city! Apart from a short stay in Calgary (don’t worry, I still cheered for the Oilers!), I have lived here my entire life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching the Oilers games with my partner and our Pomeranian, and in my free time I volunteer many hours a week to coaching the sport of Cheerleading at a local Elementary and Jr. High school.

I have so much to be grateful for! And I appreciate every person that comes into my life. I see life as being either a good time, or a learning experience. I believe in being kind, humble, and compassionate to all. I bring my values and upbeat personality to all things I do!
